<p><font size="4">This highly accurate and detailed resin kit was first released Sept 1 of this year. This UPDATED version has just been completed with enhancements and is now in LIMITED re-release. It will be a very short run and, after the currently available kits are sold, TMD is not sure production will continue due to difficulty with subcomponent contractors. This kit DOES NOT contain decals.</font></p>
<p><font size="4">Several noted experts on the T-34 (and STZ for that matter) were consulted along the way. Over a dozen separate resources were used, including factory drawings, and hundreds of walk-around photos of the 2 surviving STZ hulls and half a dozen surviving turrets. The result is the most comprehensively researched and accurate T-34 kit ever produced.<br />Virtually every part in the kit is either scratch-built or heavily modified components of existing kits. Features unique to the TDM kit are as follows:<br />• Accurate, “click-trax” 550mm wide waffle tracks with cast texture and accurate rivet detail <br />• Highly detailed reinforced all steel wheels with cast texture, casting numbers, inner rubber dampener, revised hubs and bolt head detail inside the inner ring of holes. Also, the rear inner faces are recessed as the originals <br />• Super detailed drive sprocket with crown nut fasteners, cast texture and revised hub. <br />• All new STZ lower hull with revised panel line, circular hatch underneath engine, detailed suspension arm travel limiters and spring suspension detail. Interlocking welds are also enhanced and corrected <br />• Lower rear hull plate featured revised “beefier” drive housings with correct welds <br />• Four styles of tow hooks <br />• New “scale-thickness” front fenders with inner and outer attachment brackets, scale nut/bolt head details <br />• New “scale-thickness” side fenders with stiffening ribs and attached hardware. Multiple “spot welds” that attach the fenders to hull sides are accurately reproduced. <br />• New front glacias plate MG cupola with circular inner ring, cast texture and multiple weld beads. Also an all new DT machine gun (hollow with barrel notch). <br />• Relocated drivers hatch (all Dragon kits have the hatch 1mm too far to the left) with multiple weld beads around attachment bracket <br />• New (clear) front headlight with accurate mounting bracket and nut, bulb, and armored cover for wire lead <br />• Driver/RO periscope armored housing with weld <br />• New radio antennae armored pot and antennae <br />• Accurate upper hull armored interlock detail (all STZ and 112 kits produced so far have these interlocks far under-scale). Also, accurate multiple weld beads are present at each interlocking joint. All hull armor plates were cut scale-thickness and using scale drawings, and are dimensionally correct. <br />• Separate upper hull rear plate with accurate, torch-cut edges and scale fasteners <br />• Accurate hull upper rear deck, with separate engine covers, detailed “koryto” (central “hump” over engine), armored “louvers” with detail, separate fuel filler caps (position able), weld detail and bolt pattern for STZ model 1942 <br />• Incredible resin as-built castings of intake grates with attachment hardware <br />• “Hook” shaped fittings for side fuel cell attachment (optional) with welds <br />• Detailed covers for upper hull inspection of 1st and 4th coil spring assemblies <br />• Two styles of fittings for upper/front hull used to protect turret ring in changing of main gun <br />• New turret with revised forward “notches” in turret cheeks, more accurate welds details, seams/welds underneath turret rear overhang, “pilsen” sockets under turret rear overhang, revised/relocated side vision ports <br />• New turret roof with integral fume extractor fan, revised STZ style periscope cover <br />• New turret main hatch <br />• All new Barrikady mantlet with correct “offset” forward profile, multiple weld beads all around mantlet and rifled gun barrel <br />• Detailed turret shell interior with weld detail and accurate turret ring. <br />• Detailed main gun, commander/gunner and loaders seat, MG drums <br />• Corrected “8-bolt” exhaust covers unique to STZ <br />• “Scale-thickness” exhaust pipes with weld bead detail <br />• Corrected STZ tow cables </font></p>
