One of the
challenges in the assembly of the 1/32 Tamiya series of Phantoms is
ensuring the outer wing panels are set at the proper dihedral and
the horizontal stabilizers are set at the proper anhedral. This
jig, consisting of nine pieces of laser cut wood, solves that
problem. When assembled, the model will mount onto the jig in the
obvious manner. It is then possible to set the proper angles to the
four parts requiring precise alignment.
